Full-arch treatment at MCDI starts with two steps you control: a consultation with a 3D scan, then a full diagnostic workup only if you decide to move forward. For most cases with immediate implant placement, final teeth typically take about 3 to 5 months. Every plan is customized, and cases that need grafting or staged healing take longer.
Consultation and a 3D scan.
A conversation with Dr. Patel about your goals and concerns, plus a CBCT scan so he can see your bone and anatomy in 3D.
A full workup, if you choose.
If you want to move forward, we gather everything needed to plan your case: a CBCT scan, intraoral and extraoral photos, digital scans of your teeth, a full-head facial scan, and a full-mouth X-ray series if needed.
Your findings and options.
Dr. Patel walks you through what he found and your options, with your fee in writing. Occasionally this happens at the same visit; for complex cases it’s usually a separate visit, so you have time to think.
Surgery and healing teeth.
Implants are placed in our office. When clinically appropriate, you leave with provisional “healing teeth” the same day. Because a full-arch bridge connects implants across the whole arch, the implants support each other, which is what allows temporary teeth to be placed while they heal.
Your final teeth.
For most immediate-placement cases, final teeth typically follow about 3 to 5 months later, and Dr. Patel delivers them himself. When implants are placed after a healing period instead, final teeth typically take about 5 to 6 months. Grafting can add time, and we’ll tell you up front what your case needs.
