General dentistry
General dentistry, with the same care as everything else we do.
MCDI provides complete general dentistry in Bensenville: exams and cleanings, deep cleanings and laser gum treatment, fillings, crowns and bridges, complete and partial dentures, night guards, sports guards, TMJ appliances, and emergency visits. The same digital scans and planning we use for implant care support your everyday dentistry too, and when another dentist is the better fit for a procedure, we tell you and coordinate the referral.

Checkups and cleanings
Regular exams and cleanings are the foundation of everything else. At a checkup, we clean your teeth, check your teeth and gums, do an oral cancer screening, and take X-rays when they’re needed.
Gum health: deep cleanings and laser treatment
When gum disease is present, a regular cleaning isn’t enough. MCDI provides deep cleanings (scaling and root planing), which clean below the gumline, and laser gum treatment with our DEKA SmartXide CO₂ laser when it’s appropriate for your case.
Fillings and crowns
Small cavities are repaired with fillings. When a tooth needs more, an inlay or onlay repairs part of it, and a crown restores its full shape and strength. Crowns are designed from digital scans of your teeth; long-term temporaries are 3D-printed in our office, and most final crowns are made by a dental lab in ceramic or zirconia, materials with a long clinical track record. To replace a missing tooth, a tooth-supported bridge uses the neighboring teeth for support; an implant bridge is another option.
Dentures, night guards, and emergencies
MCDI makes complete dentures and removable partial dentures; custom night guards, sports guards, and TMJ appliances designed from your scans; and triages urgent problems through our 24/7 phone line. If you’re considering dentures, ask about implant overdentures too: a removable denture that snaps onto implants for more stability. · /general-dentistry/night-guards/ · /emergency-dental-care/
When we refer
We tell you plainly when someone else is the better fit:
- Root canals: we refer to trusted endodontists (root canal specialists) and coordinate your care. A root canal can save your natural tooth, and it’s a real option we’ll discuss alongside any other.
- Complex wisdom teeth close to the nerve are referred out.
- Fillings and other restorative work for young children are often referred to a pediatric dentist.
Children
We see children for cleanings and exams. For fillings and other restorative treatment in young children, we often refer to a pediatric dentist.
